bespoke website design

HOW I WORK

1. Checklist

First, I make sure that I have everything I need to begin the project. This includes your domain and hosting details if necessary, as well as your creative brief and all the website requirements.

2. SITEMAP

Next I organise all the information for the website into a hierarchical and meaningful structure, to make it easy for users to find what they need and easy for website owners to publish thier story.

3. PROTOTYPE

Then I produce a prototype or ‘proof of concept’ to see how the website might work in the browser, and to see how users might interact with it. Once this is finalised, then I design an interface for the website.

4. CODING

The next phase is where I spin up my magic wizard tools and turn your beautiful prototype and interface into a fully working website. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time indoors during this phase.

5. LAUNCH

Finally, I put your new website through my 42 point pre-flight check and then launch it into cyber space so that the rest of the world can visit it on computers, tablets and smartphones. BOOM!

MY CREDENTIALS

STUDENT OF

"Can't thank Kate enough for the fantastic job she's done on my website and branding. I never thought my website could look so kick ass she's blown my mind!!! Nothing was too much trouble and she really took my ideas and made them come to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you Kate."

Kirsty, Photographer

"Firstly thank you so much for what you have done for our new web site [the Lily Pad Florist]. We are really pleased with the result. As someone who used to work in the IS/IT sector it has been a pleasure to work with a supplier who, whilst technically proficient, also has her feet in the real world, not baffling us with a load of techie jargon, whilst getting on with the solution we were after, not chucking responsibility back at us or forcing something on us that we didn’t want."

"Kate just somehow gets you and what you want quickly. Her designs are well thougt out and seem to reflect what was in your mind but you didn’t know how to verbalise or put into pictures! Highly recommend her."
